The 2002 Soccer World Cup Site for Southern Africa

The 2002 World Cup will undoubtely be a very interesting tournament from a logistics point of view. Never before was the World Cup held in two different countries simultaneously.

Japan and Korea will be co-hosting what is often considered to be the world's greatest sport competition, second only, perhaps, to the Olympic games.

Games will be played in 20 different soccer stadiums, 10 in each country, starting on the 31st May and ending on the 30th of June 2002. This will be an organizers' challenge in every sense of the word.
Hereunder are two comprehensive tables showing all the details regarding the stadiums in both Japan and Korea. Click on the stadium name for more information. (Capacities to the nearest 50)
