Leon. . .where have you been . . .another country, perhaps another planet? Who benefited in the Nats' 48 years of Apartheid. Blacks?,rural communities?the aged? youth?. . .not these groups!! The Nats, with their apartheid policies only looked after the interest of a privillege few. . .and that no one can deny, unless you are also suffering from amnesia!! Of course the ANC made mistakes, yet there are millions of South Africans who reaping the benefits of this ANC government.
To most of us, opening a tap, or flicking a switch is a natural thing. . .yet there are those who now, for the first time have these conviences we have grown so accustomed to. How many disadvantaged people now have a roof over their heads? Maybe to you this isn't change. . .providing houses or free health care.Sure we have crime, unemployment. . .and so does the rest of the world. I'm sure if we should experience a major earthquake you'll will blame it on the ANC. Stop whining and work towards making South Africa a country you can be proud of. The days of apartheid is gone accep it. . .stop hankering back to the good 'ol days when everything fell into your lap while the rest of the population where beaten, killed and tortured to bring democracy to South Africa!!
