The new Volkswagen Concept R prototype, announced a mere 7 days after the launch of the new Golf in 2004, combines great sharpness in design with outstanding functional solutions.

Power comes from a 195kW/265 brake horse power V6 mid-engine, accelerating to 100km/h in 5.3 seconds.
